Back in August we wrote about the High Line, an abandoned, elevated railway viaduct that’s being converted into a public park. Today we uncovered this short documentary about the High Line that was aired on PBS before the conversion began. Back then the viaduct was just an inconvenient ruin waiting to be torn down, until Joel Sternfeld walked the High Line with his large-format camera and showed New York what it was missing.
